Internship – Business Development (Distribution) – July / August 2025

About the position:

You will work as part of the Distribution Belgium and Luxembourg sales team and will therefore be in contact with our customers.

You will also take part in all our management committees, videoconferences and events. You will work with management, client servicing, reporting, risk control, legal and middle office. You will therefore acquire a good knowledge of all the asset management professions.

We will trust you to:

  • Monitor the sales activity of Lazard Asset Management’s Belgium and Luxembourg Distribution team, which covers relations with multi-managers, private banks, banking and insurance networks, as well as independent asset managers;
  • Contribute to the sales effort of the team as a whole;
  • Participate in specific solutions to customer requests;
  • Help prepare client meetings and participate in client meetings if necessary;
  • Contribute to the drafting of key selling points for the funds promoted;
  • Prepare quarterly management points for clients on flagship funds;
  • Prepare presentations for clients and prospects summarizing flagship funds;
  • Monitor the performance of flagship funds and defined peer groups;
  • Send specific documents from our tools (performance attribution, inventories, allocations, specific performance comments, and fund positioning);
  • Work on funds in the range of Lazard Asset Management, as well as funds in the range of Lazard Frères Gestion
  • Participate in events organized by Lazard and contribute to their smooth running.

What you bring to the team:

  • You are currently studying at university, business school or equivalent, specializing in Market Finance/Asset Management (Master 1 or 2 level);
  • You preferably already have internship experience in finance;
  • You have a good level of English; French; Dutch
  • You are proficient in the Windows office package (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • You are curious, autonomous, rigorous and have good interpersonal skills.
