At Nielen Schuman you can make a difference. We offers you the opportunity to immediately integrate into the team and gain valuable experience in the various aspects of Corporate Finance. We work in small, collaborative teams in which you will be staffed as a full member. You will be involved in different phases of deal transactions; from deal origination, valuation, due diligence, negotiation to closing. As such you will perform valuation analyses, company and market analyses and contribute to the drafting of client presentations. Our work is intellectually challenging as we pride ourselves on our distinctive beliefs reflecting our unique approach and how we differentiate from others: Corporate Finance beyond the obvious.

• Direct involvement in deal teams and the possibility to be involved in different phases of deal transactions, from deal origination, valuation, due diligence, negotiation to closing
• Hands-on experience in performing company, market, – and industry analyses, building valuation models and performing other analyses, draft client presentations and more
• Internal and external training and courses to develop technical skills as well as hard and soft skills

What your role will look like

• Conducting market, industry and company research
• Performing company analyses including valuations
• Preparing pitches and marketing documents
• Assisting in the preparation phase of deal execution, e.g. drafting of information memoranda & teasers

What we expect from you

• A strong interest in corporate finance confirmed through studies and ideally prior internships
• A critical mind, business sense and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with excellent people skills
• An assertive and self-motivated attitude and the desire to succeed in a dynamic environment
• An excellent ability to work in teams towards the best results for our clients
• Native Dutch and fluency in English – essential, knowledge of French is considered a plus
