PRIVATE EQUITY INVESTMENT ANALYST – INTERNSHIP

Period: mid August / September – December January (flexible but minimum 4 months)

Schedule: Full-time (1 day of work from home per week)

Internship opportunity:

As an Investment Analyst intern you have the opportunity to support the investment team of the firm alongside the full value chain from the identification and analysis of relevant investment opportunities (with a focus on private equity / search funds) to the monitoring and reporting of our different strategies portfolio in direct relationship with the management team and our operating partners. Specifically, you will:

  • Pursue research about various markets, sectors and economic trends in line with potential investment opportunities;
  • Participate in the identification and analysis of potential investment opportunities via the preparation of internal documents related to the opportunity (investment memos/presentations);
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of potential investment opportunities (e.g., financial modeling, risk analysis, among others);
  • Take part in the day-to-day management activities of our investment portfolios by assisting in a variety of tasks linked to monitoring and reporting about the strategies (cash flows analysis, Business Plans forecasting, Waterfall computations).

About you:

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a specialization in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics.
  • You have a genuine interest in the business world and a good understanding of the basic concepts of corporate finance and investment management.
  • You have an entrepreneurial and team player mindset and are eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • You speak fluently English. French, Dutch or Spanish is a plus.
