A road map towards financial knowledge

Taking part in the Investment Track of Capitant Liège and CBC will help students understand better how the stock markets works. Moreover, it will guide them on how to make their first investment. The Investment Track will take place over 3 different workshops.

The participants will have the chance of meeting and getting advices from some of the brightest minds in the Belgian market. Mr Bernard Keppenne and Mr Michel Ernst will host the first session which will cover the current macroeconomic situation and the main indexes. The second workshop will be hosted by Mr Marc Van Assche, Customer Relationship Manager of KBC Asset Management, and will introduce how to build a strong and diversified portfolio. As a final step in the Track, Ms Sarah De Pauw will share insights on Bolero to the students. On top of that, she will explain the fundamentals of equity and ETF markets.

    Michel Ersnt has more than 25 years of experience in the stock markets for recognized financial institutions. He is now Equity Strategist for CBC Private Bank.

  • Bernard KEPPENNE

    Chief Economist

    Bernard Keppenne has worked for CBC Banque for almost 30 years and has held the position of Chief Economist since 2010. His main responsibilities are to follow the evolution of the Belgian and international economy and to share his conclusions.

    Mark Van Assche is Customer Relationship Manager at KBC Asset Management.
