About your team

You will join the Benelux Sales team within the Investment Solutions and Services (ISS) business supporting both Wholesale and Institutional clients.

About your role

As a member of the Benelux sales team, the trainee works in partnership with the sales team on a 6-month project focusing on the pension fund industry in the Netherlands.

The role of the trainee is to conduct a study on the reform of Dutch pension funds.

This study plays an instrumental role in an important and timely mission to better understand the 200 pension funds in NL and their stance in the process of the reform. In addition, this could be a timely topic for a master thesis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing data, analysing annual reports of pension funds, publications, and preparing an overview of the pension fund landscape in the Netherlands, including all relevant stakeholders in the value chain. This project will provide the team with improved market intelligence and will, in turn, drive business priorities.

Key skills for this project are :

  • A strong interest in the asset management industry
  • Curiosity about developments in the pension fund industry in the Netherlands
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to process/ understand large amounts of data.

This mission can be conducted by a Master’s/ PhD student working on their thesis. Given the nature of the mission, fluency in Dutch as well as English is a prerequisite for success.
